It’s that time of year again where I get inspired to make heart-themed patterns, I really wanted to make something more grungy like my pastel textured patterns, and purple, so it all started from there.

I made the textured effect by colouring patches on a piece of paper with a pencil then scanned it in. It came out pretty much exactly as I had envisioned so I decided to make a couple of colour variations.

Then I decided to make another one, minus the textured effect and using all three colours plus a splash of yellow.

All four patterns are available as microstock and at Redbubble, Society6 and Spoonflower.
