When it comes to clothing I’m really not a floral person, same for home decor, I like plain or if it has a pattern something geometric or abstract, but despite that I do like retro style florals, still wouldn’t wear them mind you.

These flowers started as an experiment with pucker and bloat, and I liked the result so much I thought I’d create some different ones to go with the basic flower shape, I think my favourite is the chrysanthemum on the end, but I really like how this whole pattern turned out.

I remember thinking how I could see this on a tote bag, or more how I would love to have this on a tote bag, all I need to do now is order myself one. (I did and I love it!)

I should point out that this is a mock up, obviously, you’d be just as likely to see me wearing florals as you would riding a bike. Trust me I’d need far more than a helmet to keep me safe.
