When spring finally arrived this year crocuses were one of the first flowers to pop their heads up in our garden and they inspired me to make this pattern.

The crocus flowers started as a pencil sketch on paper, but the other flowers were me experimenting with the blob brush in Illustrator on iPad, by playing with the taper function I found a fun way to create petals and the first flowers I created reminded me of African daisies.
For microstock I made the darker crocus pattern, purple daisies and lilac ditsy pattern but created some other colour variations for print-on-demand.
