Another collection of floral patterns, this time in shades of pink with splashes of white and green.

I recently watched a video by Oksancia about how to stop tweaking your patterns constantly and wasting time. This really struck me as I tend to do this, I spent ages fiddling with the colours while making my first pattern in this collection, I liked it, then I hated it, then I wasn’t sure, ugh!

So I took her advice and I walked away from it, when I did come back a couple of days later I decided that I did like my colour choices after all. After that everything just fell into place and I ended up with not just one pattern but ten.

Another piece of advice she gave was to set a timer so you don’t sit there for hours constantly tweaking things, I already use a pomodoro timer (when I remember to put it on) so I used that to remind me to stop fussing.

Each site has it’s pros and cons, one pro of Shutterstock is it lets you create sets to publish, this makes it easier for me to link to. Adobe Stock also lets you do this but you can only ‘feature’ two collections at a time and there is no way that I can find to link to a non featured collection.

The other site I currently use do not even have any collection features. So I end up having to link each file individually, it’s a pain.

I’m overall happy with 123rf but they are so slow at reviews, the others take one or two days at most but 123rf can take weeks and often nothing gets done until I contact them, as I said earlier each site has its pros and cons.
