Spring is returning once more and so are the snowdrops in our garden, doodling this little flower last month reignited my lost spark and I spent much of January just drawing.

Taking the drop part of the name I added small teardrop shapes to my patterns and decided on a neutral beige palette rather than using the actual colour of snowdrops.

When this year began I told myself that I would try to be more consistent and at first things were going well, I did more in January than I had done for ages but while I created quite a few designs I didn’t actually do all the finishing touches to them, exporting, uploading and so on.

Nothing too complicated, just trying to find my feet again and get the creative juices flowing once more, but then February has been total chaos, completely derailing the rhythm I had built up and only now, almost at it’s end, am I starting to finish the designs I started last month.

Even if I wish to be more consistent it seems life has other ideas, but I will keep trying anyway.
